In the morning at the Mercure Hotel, Launceston, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Peter Underwood, will give an address and officially open the Small Business @ Tasmania's Future Conference on behalf of Business Mentor Services Tasmania.
Later at Inveresk, the Governor will give an address and officially unveil the newly restored Royal Carriage on behalf of the Don River Railway.
In the evening at the Theatre Royal the Governor and Mrs Underwood will attend a performance of Sundowner.

In the afternoon at Government House the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Peter Underwood, will receive the President and Clerk of the Legislative Council who will present Bills for the Royal Assent.

In the evening at Government House the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Peter Underwood, and Mrs Underwood will host a reception for the Defence Reserves Support Council at which the Governor will present awards to employers who support Reserve service.

In the afternoon at Government House the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Peter Underwood, will receive Mr Michael Field, Chancellor, and Professor Peter Rathjen, Vice Chancellor of the University of Tasmania.
In the evening the Governor and Mrs Underwood will host a reception for delegates attending the Strategic Science in Antarctica Conference.

In the morning at the Menzies Research Institute the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Peter Underwood, and Mrs Underwood will undertake a tour of the medical sciences precinct and research facilities under the direction of Professor Tom Marwick, Director, and Dr Dan Norton, Chair of the Board of Menzies Research Institute Tasmania.
In the afternoon at Government House the Governor will receive the Clerk of the Executive Council.

In the morning the Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union, His Excellency Mr David Daly, and Mrs Aideen Daly will depart Government House.
Later the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Peter Underwood, and Mrs Underwood will host a morning tea to acknowledge the contributions of major donors, Board members and staff of the Heart Foundation at which the Governor will present the three Heart Foundation/Menzies Research Institute Honours Scholarships for 2013.
In the evening at Invermay the Governor will attend a dinner and give an address to mark the 175th Anniversary of the Launceston Horticultural Society.
