Public events
Her Excellency and Dr Walters are pleased to welcome members of the public to Government House throughout the year. Details of upcoming public events are listed below.
Everyone is invited to pack a picnic and visit the beautiful Government House gardens on select Fridays during the warmer months. Free entry and no bookings required.
Vice-Regal events
The Governor and Dr Walters host many Vice-Regal events at Government House. These are held for government, community, charitable and patronage organisations and to mark special occasions of significance for not-for-profit groups or for delegates attending conferences in the State.
Receptions, morning or afternoon teas, luncheons, dinners and presentation ceremonies are hosted in the State Rooms of Government House which include the Ballroom, Drawing Room, Dining Room and Conservatory.
