Government House
This recipe is for our signature Government House shortbread.
It is sweet, melt in the mouth and traditional.
It came to Government House via the Executive Chef and Community Engagement Facilitator - Ainstie Wagner when she first started in 1987.
It has been so continually popular that it has not been off the morning and afternoon tea menus since then.
The recipe has a soft warm buttery and pure vanilla flavour.
