2025 Tasmanian STEM Excellence Awards

In the evening, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a ceremony for the presentation of the 10th anniversary Tasmanian STEM Excellence Awards.

The Governor is always delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Tasmanians and highlight our State’s impressive history of innovation and scientific research.

In this spirit, this evening she was pleased to host the Tasmanian STEM Excellence Awards ceremony at Government House.

The awards are now in their tenth year and recognise individual excellence in STEM fields, honouring outstanding Tasmanian researchers, innovators, teachers and communicators.

The Governor congratulated all winners and finalists and thanked them for the significant contributions they make to Tasmania’s future through their research and innovation.

She also commended them for inspiring the next generation of scientists who will continue to forge a brighter future for our State.
