His Majesty The King's 2025 Commonwealth Day Message

His Majesty King Charles III has released a message to all Commonwealth nations to mark Commonwealth Day 2025.

Commonwealth Day is an annual celebration observed across the 56 member countries of the Commonwealth which takes place on the second Monday in March each year. It will be marked with a service held at Westminster Abbey in London and at events around the world.

International Women's Day Luncheon 2025

Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania, supported the vital work of the Hobart Women’s Shelter by hosting an International Women’s Day fundraising luncheon at Government House on Friday 7 March.

Community engagement is an important part of the Governor’s program, and she is committed to raising awareness of women’s issues, particularly gender equality and the impact of family violence.
