In the afternoon, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Her Excellency Mrs Marion Derckx, and Mr Sjef IJzermans arrived at Government House to stay.
In the evening, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a formal dinner in honour of the official visit to Tasmania by the Ambassador of the Netherlands and Mr IJzermans.
