In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, presided at the swearing-in of Mr Michael Daly as Associate Judge of the Supreme Court of Tasmania.

Later at the Supreme Court, the Governor and Professor Chalmers attended a ceremonial sitting on the occasion of the Honourable Michael Daly taking his seat as Associate Judge of the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
