In the afternoon, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted an afternoon tea to mark the 45th anniversary of the David Collins Leukaemia Foundation of Tasmania.

In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, received the Speaker and Clerk of the House of Assembly who submitted new Standing Orders for the House of Assembly.
