Churchill Fellows Association of Tasmania Inc

As Patron of the Churchill Fellows Association of Tasmania, the Governor was pleased to host a ceremony at Government House to present Churchill Fellowship awards for 2025.

Awarded by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, Churchill Fellowships allow people to travel overseas for up to eight weeks to learn more about a topic or issue they are passionate about and then return to share their findings with the community.

Seven new Tasmanian fellows for 2025 were celebrated, who will undertake projects across diverse areas including health, justice, community service, and education.

Previous fellows were also honoured, with the Governor presenting medallions to five fellows who have completed their project reports, and certificates to Tasmanians who received their fellowships 25 and 50 years ago.
