Combined Clubs Open Day 2025

In the afternoon on board ML Egeria, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, accompanied by Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers, took the salute at the 2025 Combined Clubs Open Day to mark the opening of the sailing season.

The Governor was pleased to head out on the River Derwent for the official opening of the yachting season in Hobart.

The Combined Clubs Open Day featured a sail past of yachts from local clubs to mark the start of the summer sailing season.

The Governor, who serves as Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, took the salute from on board the ML Egeria in Sullivans Cove.
