Council on the Ageing (COTA) Tasmania

In the afternoon at Kingston High School Theatre, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended the film launch and celebration of the ‘Generations Connect:  Tech Together’ program hosted by the Council on the Ageing (COTA) Tasmania.

The Governor is proud to serve as Patron of the COTA (Council On The Ageing) Tasmania, which challenges ageism and promotes the rights, interests and value of all Tasmanians as they age.

Her Excellency was pleased to attend a film screening and panel discussion highlighting COTA Tasmania’s 'Generations Connect: Tech Together' program, which brings young people and older Tasmanians together to share stories, build friendships and expand their digital skills.
