In the evening, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a reception for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Tasmania to mark Global Awareness Day for MND.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Professor Chalmers received Ms Ruth Baird, Director, Tasmania State Office, together with senior representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
