In the evening, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a ceremony for the presentation of the 10th anniversary Tasmanian STEM Excellence Awards.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers received Mr Scott Kelleher, Director, Tasmania State Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
