In the morning at Risdon Vale, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, accompanied by Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers, officiated at a ceremonial tree planting to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on behalf of the Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania.
