In the evening at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a reception for the Meals on Wheels Association of Tasmania Inc.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Ms Mary Mulcahy, Director, Dr Ash Kerr, Head of Art, and Dr Eleanor Cave, Deputy Director, Research and Collections, of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.
