In the afternoon at the Hobart Fire Brigade Club Rooms, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Chalmers, presented recipients with National Emergency Medals and Long Service Medals on behalf of the Tasmania Fire Service on the occasion of the celebration of the 140th anniversary of the Hobart Fire Brigade.
