Later at Government House, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a presentation ceremony for Young Leaders of Tasmania (YLOT).

In the afternoon in Hobart, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Chalmers, delivered an address to officially open the inaugural office of the Disability Commissioner Tasmania.
