Inscape Tasmania

In the evening at the Henry Jones Art Hotel, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Chalmers, delivered an address to officially open the ten-year celebration event hosted by Inscape Tasmania.

In her community engagement role, the Governor is committed to supporting Tasmanian artists, as well as organisations which work to improve the lives of their fellow Tasmanians.

In this spirit, on Thursday evening she was pleased to open arts health organisation Inscape Tasmania’s ten year celebration in Hobart.

Inscape delivers professional art and music programs in Tasmanian hospitals, supporting Tasmanian artists and musicians to create meaningful experiences for patients, families and staff.

The Governor acknowledged Inscape and its founders, staff, artists, musicians, healthcare partners, patients and supporters, and described the organisation as an example of what can be achieved when creativity and care come together.
