In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a reception for the Tasmanian Racing Club to mark the 2026 Hobart Cup Carnival.

This morning the Governor was pleased to join Triple M Hobart’s Kaz and Tubes for a chat about Government House Family Day, which is taking place this Sunday 8 February.
