In the afternoon at Kingston Library, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, accompanied by Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers, presented awards at an afternoon tea for Libraries Tasmania volunteers from the South Central Region to mark National Volunteer Week.
Today, the Governor and Professor Chalmers visited the Kingston Library for a special National Volunteer Week afternoon tea.
During the event, the Governor was delighted to present awards to Libraries Tasmania volunteers from the South Central Region, and to chat with volunteers about their work.
