Municipality of Kentish

In the morning at Staverton, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Kentish which included visits to the Lake Barrington International Rowing Museum; Sheffield School Farm; Cement Australia, Railton; Kentish Community Men’s Shed; Redwater Creek Steam and Heritage Centre; Sheffield Visitor Information Centre; Sheffield Art Gallery and Mural Park; and Tandara Lodge Community Care Inc, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of Kentish at the Sheffield Town Hall.
