In the morning at Hagley, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Meander Valley which included visits to Hagley Farm Primary School; Western Tiers Distillery; Westbury Historical Society; Westbury RSL Club to meet with community volunteers; Aged Care Deloraine; Rotary Park Reserve, Deloraine; and Meander House, Meander, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of Meander Valley at Calstock Estate, Deloraine.
