In the morning at Riverside, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of West Tamar which included visits to Windsor Community Precinct Gardens; Tamar Wetlands Boardwalk and Visitor Centre; Beauty Point Foreshore Walk; Beaconsfield Men’s Shed and Ladies Day Group; Beaconsfield Primary School; Tamar Valley Wine Centre; Tresca Community Centre; and West Tamar Landcare, Exeter, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of West Tamar at the Windsor Community Precinct, Riverside.
