Later, the Governor received the President and Members of the Legislative Council for presentation of the Address-in-Reply to the Governor’s speech to both Houses of Parliament on the occasion of the formal opening of the 51st Parliament of Tasmania.

In the afternoon, the Governor received the Speaker and Members of the House of Assembly for presentation of the Address-in-Reply to the Governor’s speech to both Houses of Parliament on the occasion of the formal opening of the 51st Parliament of Tasmania.

Later, the Governor received the Speaker and Clerk of the House of Assembly who submitted new Standing Orders for the House of Assembly.
