In the morning at St John’s Presbyterian Church, Hobart, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended a service to celebrate the bicentenary of the preaching of the first sermon in Australia by a Church of Scotland (Presbyterian) minister, Reverend Archibald Macarthur.
