Later at Government House, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted an afternoon tea to acknowledge the Tasmanian mentors who supported the 2025 Mentor Walks Hobart program.

In the afternoon at Montrose Bay High School, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, accompanied by Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers, attended and presented an award at the 2025 Years 9 and 10 Celebration Assembly.
