Rotary Club of Deloraine - Tasmanian Craft Fair 2025

In the morning at Deloraine, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended the 2025 Tasmanian Craft Fair.

The Governor enjoys supporting Tasmania’s arts and cultural sector and travelling around our State to attend events and meet artists and craftspeople.

Her Excellency was delighted to be in Deloraine for the Tasmanian Craft Fair, the largest working arts and craft fair in Australia.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Deloraine, the fair celebrates artists and makers across a broad range of traditional and contemporary crafts, with a majority of the 200 exhibitors hailing from Tasmania.

The Governor and Professor Chalmers toured the exhibition halls, meeting makers, performers and event organisers, with a highlight being a sketch of the Governor drawn live on stage by guest artist, speed painter Brad Blaze.
