Rotary Club of Hobart

In the evening at Wrest Point, Sandy Bay, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Chalmers, delivered an address to officially open the 2025 Annual Art Show hosted by the Rotary Club of Hobart.

The Governor serves as Patron of the Rotary Club of Hobart and was delighted to officially open the Club’s Art Show.

This year is the 35th anniversary of the event, which showcases the artistic talents of emerging and established Tasmanian artists.

Funds raised from the Art Show support the Rotary Club of Hobart’s charitable endeavours including youth programs, disaster relief funds and other community projects.

The Governor congratulated all the artists who exhibited their work in the weekend’s show, and commended the Club on its dedication to raising funds to support the Tasmanian community.
