In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, as Deputy Prior for Tasmania, presided at an investiture for the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

In the evening at Wrest Point, Sandy Bay, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended the Annual Dinner for the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.
