Vice-Regal Patronages

The Governor is proud to be Patron of more than 130 Tasmanian associations, groups, clubs, societies, institutions and organisations which serve our community across a wide range of fields.

Today she was delighted to host a luncheon at Government House for representatives from several of her Patronages which work with young people across our State.

This included representatives from Beacon Foundation, Kidsafe Tasmania, School Food Matters, Kennerley Children's Homes inc., Toast for Kids Charity Inc., Scouts Tasmania, Girl Guides Tasmania, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Tasmania, STV Windeward Bound, Tasmanian Bike Collective, Surf Life Saving Tasmania and Athletics Tasmania.

The event provided an opportunity for the Governor to not only receive updates about current projects and initiatives, but also to thank organisations for the valuable work they do to help improve the lives of young Tasmanians.
