Later at the Hobart Cenotaph, the Governor, accompanied by Professor Chalmers, delivered the address and placed a wreath at the 2023 Vietnam Veterans’ Day Remembrance Service.
Later at the Lenah Valley RSL Club, the Governor and Professor Chalmers attended a luncheon to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War hosted by the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia, Greater Hobart Sub-Branch.
