In the afternoon, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted an afternoon tea to mark the 40th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Sorell.

In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, received Mrs Adriana Taylor, State President, and Ms Tammy Price, State Executive Officer, of the Country Women’s Association in Tasmania.
