FRAME: Concept, History and Conservation - Symposium 3

In the evening, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a reception to welcome delegates attending the FRAME:  Concept, History and Conservation — Symposium 3.

In her community engagement role, the Governor regularly welcomes delegates to Government House who are visiting Tasmania for national conferences and events.

This evening, she hosted a reception to mark the FRAME: Concept, History and Conservation Symposium which is being held in Hobart for the first time this week.

The Symposium brings together local, national and international curators, conservators and industry experts for lectures, discussions and presentations focused on all aspects of picture frames.

Speaking to guests, the Governor wished all Symposium attendees a wonderful stay in Tasmania and also highlighted the artworks – and picture frames – on display in the Government House State Rooms.
