Morning

In the morning at the Executive Building, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Afternoon

In the afternoon on board the Windward Bound at Elizabeth Street Pier, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Warner, delivered an address to officially launch the Rotary 100 Great Youth Adventure.

Later at Government House, the Governor and Mr Warner received the Ambassador of Japan, His Excellency Mr Shingo Yamagami, and Mrs Kaoru Yamagami, together with Ms Kim Clifford, Honorary Consul, Mr Reona Aso, First Secretary, and Mr Hiroki Nakase, First Secretary.
