In the morning at Cygnet, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Huon Valley which included visits to Burtons Reserve; Port Cygnet Sea Scouts; CWA Cottage; The Cannery; Cygnet Town Hall; Huon Regional Care, Franklin; Trade Training Centre, Huonville; Huon She Shed, Ranelagh; and Baden Powell Scout Hall, Huonville, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of Huon Valley at the Huonville Town Hall.
