In the morning at Ross, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Northern Midlands which included visits to the Ross Village Green; Species Hotel Sculpture Walk; Ross Wastewater Treatment Plant; Centacare Evolve Housing, Campbell Town; Campbell Town District High School; Evandale Community Centre; Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company; Missiondale Therapeutic Community; Eskleigh, Perth; Mountford Berry Farm, Longford; and X Hemp, Cressy, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of Northern Midlands at the Longford Memorial Hall.
