In the morning at Sorell, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Sorell which included visits to Business and Employment Southeast Tasmania; South East Tasmania Salvos, Sorell; Okines Community House, Dodges Ferry; Carlton Park Surf Life Saving Club; Bream Creek Vineyard; Leap Farm/Tongola Cheese; and the Sorell Emergency Services Hub/Tasmania Fire Service, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of Sorell at South East Stadium, Sorell.
