Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a ceremony for the Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC) to present Outstanding Achievement Awards for 2025.

In her community engagement role, the Governor always enjoys celebrating the achievements of Tasmania’s exceptional young people across all fields of endeavour.

In this spirit, she was delighted to host the Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC) Outstanding Achievement Awards at Government House.

The ceremony recognised high-achieving vocational education and training award recipients and academic award recipients from secondary schools across Tasmania and celebrated their success in 2025.

The Governor congratulated all the students on their achievements and wished them well in the years and decades ahead, whether in academia, industry, innovation, public service, or other endeavours.
