In the evening, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a reception for members and supporters of the Sing For Your Life! Choir.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received the Speaker and Clerk of the House of Assembly who submitted new Standing Orders for the House of Assembly.
