This evening, she hosted a reception for members of Skål International Hobart to mark the tourism organisation’s 60th anniversary.
Speaking to guests, the Governor noted that it had been an eventful six decades for Tasmania’s tourism industry, with the State now welcoming more than 1.3 million visitors each year.
The Governor congratulated the club on its anniversary with its traditional toast, skål, and commended members on helping to make Tasmania a welcoming and memorable place for visitors.
