Morning

In the morning the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Dr Thomas Fitschen, and Dr Ilona Stölken-Fitschen departed Government House.

Later, the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, and Mr Dennis Wilson arrived at Government House to stay.

Afternoon

In the afternoon at the Commonwealth Law Courts, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, and Mr Warner attended a ceremonial sitting of the Family Court of Australia on the occasion of the retirement of the Honourable Justice Robert Benjamin.
