In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, received Lieutenant Colonel Jared Hill, Commanding Officer, together with Major General Steve Smith, Colonel Commandant, of the 12th/40th Battalion, The Royal Tasmania Regiment.
Later, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted an afternoon tea for Kidsafe Tasmania.
