In the evening at the Hyatt Hotel, Canberra, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended a reception for Vice-Regal representatives hosted by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn, and her Official Secretary, Mr Gerard Martin.
