As Patron of Volunteering Tasmania, the Governor was delighted to attend the 2025 Tasmanian Volunteering Awards at the Hobart Town Hall.

The Awards celebrate the dedicated members of our community who selflessly give their time and work to improve the lives of their fellow Tasmanians.

The Governor was pleased to present a special Enduring Contribution Award to recognise the outstanding environmental volunteering legacy of the late Stephen Mattingley, which was accepted by his wife Sandra.
