In the morning at Anzac Park, Lindisfarne, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, accompanied by Mr Warner, delivered an address at the unveiling of a plaque on behalf of the Partners of Veterans Association of Australia Tasmania Branch Inc.

In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received Professor Peter Kanowski, Secretary of the Rhodes Scholarship in Australia, Professor Nicholas Farrelly, State Secretary for the Rhodes Scholarship in Tasmania, and Professor Elle Leane, former Tasmanian State Secretary.
