In her ceremonial role, the Governor regularly meets with Ambassadors, High Commissioners and other diplomatic officials who are visiting Tasmania.

Today, she and Professor Chalmers were pleased to receive the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Her Excellency Ms Jana Tyrer, at Government House for morning tea in the Conservatory.

Her Excellency was accompanied by Honorary Consul for the Czech Republic in Tasmania, Mr Vladimír Gala.
