Executive Council

In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, appointed and swore to office the Honourable Peter Gutwein as Minister for Tourism; and Minister for Climate Change; the Honourable Michael Ferguson as Minister for Local Government and Planning; the Honourable Roger Jaensch as Minister for Education, Children and Youth; and Minister for Skills, Training and Workforce Growth; the Honourable Jane Howlett as Minister for Disability Services; and Minister for Hospitality and Events; and Mr Nicholas Street as Minister for Sport and Recreation; Minister for Community Services and Development; Minister for Heritage; Minister for Science and Technology; and as a member of the Executive Council.

Later, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
