In the morning, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Central Coast which included visits to the Penguin Foreshore, Penguin History Group, Coroneagh Park Aged Care, Harvest Moon, Central Coast Community Shed, Warawee Women’s Shelter, Ulverstone Primary School, HIVE cultural precinct and Slipstream Circus, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Central Coast Council at the Ulverstone Civic Centre.
