Municipality of Latrobe

In the morning at Latrobe, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Latrobe which included visits to BioMar Australia, Wesley Vale; Rubicon Enhancement Volunteers Project, Shearwater; The Banksia Centre, Port Sorell; Geneva Christian College, Latrobe; Uniting AgeWell Latrobe Community, Strathdevon; Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Trails; Latrobe Flood Mitigation Project; and the Australian Axeman’s Hall of Fame, prior to attending a Civic Reception hosted by the Mayor of Latrobe.
