Morning

In the morning on board ML Egeria, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, and Mr Warner participated in the Australian Wooden Boat Festival parade of sail as part of the program of events of the 2021 Royal Hobart Regatta.

Afternoon

In the afternoon at Elwick Racecourse, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Warner, presented the winner’s trophy at the 2021 Hobart Cup Day hosted by the Tasmanian Racing Club Inc.

International Women's Day Luncheon 2026

On Friday 6 March 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania, hosted an International Women’s Day fundraising luncheon at Government House to support Tasmanian women with gynaecological cancer. More than 100 people attended the event, with all proceeds going to the Rotary Tasmania Gynaecological Cancer Project.
